Product Overview

The Shimadzu TOC-L Series is the pinnacle of Total Organic Carbon analysis, built on Shimadzu’s industry-leading 680 °C combustion catalytic oxidation technology. This robust method—paired with high-sensitivity NDIR detection—enables a notable detection limit of just 4 µg/L, delivering unmatched precision across an extensive measurement range from 4 µg/L up to 30,000 mg/L 

 

This analyzer combines versatility with power:

  • Oxidizes not only easily degradable compounds but also tough-to-decompose, insoluble, and macromolecular organics 

  • Supports key measurement modes—TC, IC, TOC (TC − IC), NPOC—and optional modules like POC, combined POC+NPOC, and total nitrogen (TN) 

  • Offers flexible sample management with automatic acidification, sparging, and dilution, ensuring longevity of internal components by reducing the effects of sample acidity, salinity, and alkalinity 

  • Designed to keep workflows smooth and uninterrupted by allowing stat or priority samples to be added at any time—even mid-run
